AirSintMaarten starts summer charters on June 30th, 2003.

ROTTERDAM-AirSintMaarten's managing director, Terrance Rey, announces today that he has reached an agreement with the owner and president of Air Holland, Cees van Dormaël, to use Air Holland's Boeing 767-300 to do direct flights to St. Maarten.

Air Holland is The Netherlands' sole independent charter airline company, giving it a unique position among the airline companies that use Schiphol airport as their home base of operations. Air Holland has all the necessary rights and landing permits to fly within The Kingdom of The Netherlands (Holland and St. Maarten).

AirSintMaarten's aim is to market and promote the island of St. Maarten as a holiday destination. By offering attractive rates to passengers wanting to fly to St. Maarten AirSintMaarten hopes to capture a significant portion of the market out of Europe to the Caribbean area surrounding the island of St. Maarten, such as Saba, Statia, St. Kitts, Nevis, St. Barths and Anguilla.

By combining AirSintMaarten's unique perspective of St. Maarten as a new holiday destination and as an important hub in the Caribbean and Air Holland's quality and dedication to make passengers travelling on vacation a pleasant and fulfilling one, AirSintMaarten is set to start her weekly flights as a virtual airline on Monday, June 30th, 2003.

Terrance Rey states, however, that the present schedule will have to change in order to facilitate a smooth cooperation with Air Holland's planned schedule. Refer to the Flight Schedule webpage for more details.
