"Affordable rates" at Caribbean Star

PHILIPSBURG/ANTIGUA -- Caribbean travellers can now fly around the region at even more affordable fares through Caribbean Star Airlines' new low season campaign, the airline announced.

Caribbean Star's route map
"The Swift Way to Fly" campaign that began on September 1 is effective until October 31 and involves all 13 Caribbean Star destinations. The campaign offers fares from as low as US $40 (return) on specific routes, while the other routes* have "competitive fares to realize the airline's objective to provide more affordable travel during the current low season period."

As an additional incentive, travelers are given a chance to win a 2005 Suzuki Swift. Entry forms for the Suzuki Swift giveaway are available at Caribbean Star's ticketing offices, at check-in counters and in flight through its flights attendants.

Caribbean Star Airlines Chief Operating Officer Edward Gilkes said in a press statement: "Our fares are an initiative to make regional travel more affordable to all our passengers and a continuation of our commitment to regionalism. We are not just an airline, but an integral part of the life of the citizens of the Caribbean, as we provide access to each other through airline travel."

He added, "Since inception, Caribbean Star Airlines has made every effort to connect the Caribbean through our competitive pricing, through our network of destinations, our warm and friendly in-flight service and our corporate contributions."
